DRAGON’S BLOOD (SANGRE DE GRADO) is the deep-red latex from the Amazonian tree Croton lechleri. Indigenous peoples have long used it to stop bleeding, seal wounds and calm gastrointestinal distress. Today its healing, cosmetic and nutraceutical value is recognised worldwide.

Origin & Habitat: Wild across Peru’s jungle departments (San Martín, Huánuco, Junín, Loreto, Cusco), trees reach up to 25 m. We harvest only mature trees using shiringueo (non-destructive tapping that allows regeneration), preserving biodiversity while ensuring consistent quality.

Rapid carbon capture: As a pioneer species in secondary rainforest, C. lechleri reaches maturity in 10–12 years and contributes significant CO2 sequestration per hectare.
